The Carroll County Republican Primary is now set for Sat., May 16 and will feature a pair of contested races.
A total of 10 candidates filed before Monday's deadline for eight positions. The Carroll County Republican Party will select its slate of candidates to run in the Nov. 3 general election during the primary to be held on Saturday, May 16.
