Three local pet owners are taking home $50 each after receiving the largest number of votes out of nearly 4,600 cast in the Jefferson Post’s “Cutest Pet” online photo contest.Online voting, which ended Feb. 28, allowed visitors to decide which pet was considered the cutest in the county.Cliff Clark, general manager of the Jefferson Post, was excited about the success of the contest.“It was another great online contest for the Post and our sponsors,” Clark said. “I would like to thank our sponsors, McDonalds of West Jefferson, RDR Kennels of Warrensville and Vannoy Construction, and everybody who voted and submitted photos.”
