Fleetwood man allegedly watched sexual abuse online

Following last week’s arrest of Aaron Banks Dixon, 28, of Fleetwood, on multiple sex crimes, more information has been discovered connecting Dixon to the arrest of Sarah Lippy Adleta in Florida.

Adleta, 28 of Oviedo, Fla., was arrested by the Federal Bureau of Investigation on three child pornography charges. She is currently being held in the Seminole County Jail without bond.

Two young children are involved in the case. Because of the “tender age of the children,” Ashe County Sheriff’s Office Capt. Carolyn Gentry did not provide any further details about the connection of the cases, but the ACSO did confirm the cases were connected.

According to a report from the Orlando Sentinel, which covers the Oviedo area, the FBI learned Adleta sent images of herself and multiple children to Dixon.

Adleta told FBI agents on Friday that she took nude photographs of herself and a child about one year ago and sent them to Dixon, according to an article from the Orlando Sentinel.

Adleta also said she performed sex acts on the child while streaming the acts using Skype while Dixon watched, according to the Sentinel article.

The Ashe County Sheriff’s Office initially arrested Dixon on March 11 on a charge of rape of a child and five counts of first degree sexual offense of a child by an adult. On Friday, March 15, Dixon was also charged with rape of a child, two charges of exploitation of a minor, and another charge of first degree sexual offense of a child by an adult.

The ACSO said the investigation is on-going, and has contacted the FBI to assist in the child pornography investigation because the case has crossed state lines.

Dixon was already being held on a $100,000 bond for the initial first degree sexual offense charge and $1,000,000 bond for the first degree rape of a child charge.
