Ashe took a 28-7 halftime lead, but saw the Elks fight back in a big way in the second half. The Huskies held off the charge however, and picked up the win in the first conference game of the season.
Ashe now sits at 2-2 overall and 1-0 in conference action. Elkin fell to 3-2 overall and 1-1 in conference.
