Last week’s district court decisions

The following decisions were reached in Ashe County District Court the week of Feb. 15-19, 2016.

Deana Cheri Billings: Received credit for time served for charge of shoplifting. She must may monies on failure to pay charges by March 31.

Vickie Bledsoe: A school attendance violation charge was dismissed.

Richard Todd Dale: For a driving while intoxicated conviction, Dale was given a 60-day sentence, which was suspended for 24 months of probation. The state accepted a dismissal on a lane control violation.

He also received a 15-day suspended sentence, suspended for 18-months of probation on charge of driving while license revoked. Those sentences will run consecutively if terms of probation are violated or terminated.

Thomas Marsh: On a misdemeanor larceny conviction, Marsh received 45 days, suspended for 18 months probation. He must also pay $100 in restitution and must stay 250 feet away from the victim.

Crystal Maxwell: Received 18 months probation for a school attendance violation.

Terry Oneal: Probation terminated.

Shivonne Quintero: Received a prayer for judgment continued for unsafe movement.

George Rhoades: Received prayer for judgment continued for a school attendance violation.

Jeffrey Dee Walton: Received a prayer for judgment continued for littering less than 15 pounds. He must also pay court costs.

Christopher Dway Ward: A misdemeanor assault on a female charge was dismissed due to a failure to show by victim.

James Franklin Wolfe: Received a prayer for judgment continued and state dismissal for failure to report/tag big game.
