JEFFERSON-Authorities have yet to reveal the name the other person involved in a two-party drug transaction that has already led to the arrest of a Jefferson woman on methamphetamine charges.
Kacha Wood, 33, of 206 Bower Calloway Road, was arrested June 1 on charges of sell and deliver meth and possession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver meth, according to arrest warrants.
She was issued a $180,000 bond, which has since been reduced to $100,000. She will be represented by Garland Baker in a probable cause hearing scheduled for June 16.
Wood’s warrant alleges she sold meth to a “person to be named at a later date.”
According to the arresting documents, she made the drug transaction on April 19. Wood made her first appearance in court on Thursday.
