ASHE COUNTY —Ashe County Habitat for Humanity is currently in need of volunteers for opportunities coming up in July.
Habitat will have a booth at the Christmas in July festival on Saturday, July 4 and will need two volunteers for each of the following shifts:
7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m.
9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Habitat will also have a booth at the Home Sweet Home Show at Faith Fellowship in Jefferson on Saturday, July 18 and will need two volunteers for each of the following shifts:
8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.
2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Monthly One-Day ReStores
Currently, Ashe County Habitat for Humanity doesn’t have a permanent location for a Habitat ReStore and are holding monthly One-Day ReStores on the fourth Saturday of each month from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. through October.
The ReStores will feature items such as furniture, building supplies, appliances, light fixtures, artwork and more.
The ReStores will be held at Parkway Storage on West Ashe Street, just off the Backstreet near the Ashe County Public Library in West Jefferson.
If you would like to donate items to the ReStore, you may drop them off during a sale or call 336-846-2525 to arrange a drop-off or pick-up.
