ASHE COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested and booked in the Ashe County Detention Center Wednesday, July 15 through Wednesday, July 22. The information is provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office and is public record.
Terri Frances Smith, 52, of Lenoir was arrested July 15 and charged with trafficking in opium or heroin, failure to appear on misdemeanor and possession of drug paraphernalia. She remains in the Ashe County Detention Center under a $35,000 secured bond and a $1,000 secured bond.
Julie Victoria Absher, 32, of Millers Creek was arrested July 15 and charged with felony larceny. She was released July 20 on a $7,500 secured bond.
Erika Leigh Gragg, 34, of Lenoir was arrested July 17 and charged with two counts harassing phone call and two counts of probation violation. She remains in the Ashe County Detention Center. No bond was listed.
Anthony Gwyn Lackey, 38, of Wilkesboro was arrested July 17 and charged with three counts of trafficking in methamphetamine, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, two counts simple possession of Schedule IV controlled substance and failure to heed light and siren. He remains in the Ashe County Detention Center under a $500,000 secured bond and a $2,000 secured bond.
Lee Walker Fierro, 20, of West Jefferson was arrested July 18 and charged with assault on a female. He remains in the Ashe County Detention Center under a $1,000 secured bond.
Jennifer May Trivette, 39, of Lansing was arrested July 20. Charges were not listed. She was released that same day on a $24,000 secured bond.
Joshua Richard Ray, 32, of Adairsville, Georgia, was arrested July 22 and charged with resisting a public officer, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of methamphetamine and extradition/fugitive other state. He remains in the Ashe County Detention Center under a $500 secured bond, a $5,000 secured bond and another $500 secured bond.
