Ashe County arrest report

ASHE COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested and booked in the Ashe County Detention Center Wednesday, July 29 through Tuesday, Aug. 4. The information is provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office and is public record.

Nikol Marie Young, 40, of Lenoir was arrested July 29 and charged with probation violation and two counts of failure to appear on misdemeanor. She remains in the Ashe County Detention Center under a $2,000 secured bond, a $450 cash bond and a $500 secured bond.

Wesley Paul Woodard, 23, of Crumpler was arrested July 29 and charged with two counts misdemeanor larceny and two counts of probation violation. He remains in the Ashe County Detention Center under a $4,000 secured bond.

Kristy Elizabeth Romans, 36, of Todd was arrested July 30 and charged with shoplifting/concealment goods. She was released July 31 on a $500 secured bond.

Wendy Collins, 45, of Wilkesboro was arrested July 30 and charged with shoplifting/concealment goods, simple possession Schedule II controlled substance, simple possession Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of methamphetamine and possession of controlled substance on prison/jail premises.

Ryan Wilson Adcock, 30 of Creston was arrested July 30 and charged with larceny of motor vehicle and misdemeanor larceny. He remains in the Ashe County Detention Center under a $15,000 secured bond and a $1,500 secured bond.

William Andrew South, 45, of Jefferson was arrested July 31 and charged with violation of court order and attempt to break and enter a building. He was released Aug. 1 on a $10,o00 secured bond and a $1,000 secured bond.

Joshua Alan Royal, 32, of Jefferson was arrested July 31 and charged with assault on a female and communicating threats. He was released Aug. 1 on a $1,500 secured bond and a $500 secured bond.

Kenneth Wayne Hurley, 56, of Creston was arrested July 31 and charged with assault on a female, first degree trespass/enter, and injury to real property. He was released Aug. 1 on a $2,500 secured bond and a $700 secured bond.

Ashley Elisabeth Billings, 28, of Crumpler was arrested Aug. 1 and charged with simple possession Schedule IV controlled substance and simple possession Schedule II controlled substance. She was released that same day on a $1,000 secured bond.

Jana Gayle Howell, 42, of Crumpler was arrested Aug. 4 and charged with driving while license revoked. She was released that same day on a $500 secured bond.

Jeremiah Ray Shipman, 35, of Asheville was arrested Aug. 4 on unknown charges as of press time. He remains in the Ashe County Detention Center. No bond was listed.
