WEST JEFFERSON — The Ashe County Chamber of Commerce welcomed Martha Mae’s Emporium owners Jon and Amanda Calloway and Jason and Rachel Brown with a Ribbon Cutting Ceremony on Monday, Aug. 10.
Martha Mae’s Emporium, which is named for Calloway’s late grandmother, offers over 5,000-square-feet of antiques, collectibles, homemade goods, re-purposed furniture and more. The store is divided into approximately ten-by-ten foot spaces which are currently rented out by 33 vendors.
The store recently underwent extensive renovations this summer and eventually held it’s grand opening on Saturday, Aug. 8.
Martha Mae’s Emporium is open Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m., Friday and Saturday from 10 a.m. until 9 p.m. and on Sunday from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m..
