The Wee Wolves basketball program returns for another season with the first practice starting on Thursday, Nov. 7

The league is open to all kindergarten, first and second grade boys and girls.

As of right now, games and practices will be on Thursdays at 6 p.m. and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. at Westwood Elementary School.

The Wee Wolves program strives to make sure that all players have a lot of fun and feel like winners. No score is kept during the games.

Coaches will teach the basic fundamentals of basketball and teach good sportsmanship and fair play. The hope is that not only will the kids have fun, but they will also build confidence in themselves and make new friends.

According to Coach Kevin Miller, each child will receive a shirt and trophy and all money taken in goes directly towards the program. The $45 fee covers league expenses, equipment, shirts and trophies.

Registration forms can be found on the Westwood Elementary School website.

If you have any questions, call Kevin Miller at 336-877-2921 ext. 510.
