It is business as usual for Coach Steve Smith and the Oak Hill Warriors.

Oak Hill Academy is 27-2 on the season and currently ranked 11th in the latest MaxPreps Top 25 in the nation. The Warriors were as high as second, but a 53-50 loss to Whitney Young HS in Springfield, Mass., last Monday knocked OHA down to 11th.

Since then, the Warriors have pounded four opponents and look to close out the season strong in the last 13 games.

Oak Hill beat Kennedy Charter School on Jan. 22, 94-50. N.C. State signees Caleb and Cody Martin led the way with 14 apiece. Junior Trevor Manuel had 12, Rokas Gustys had 10 and Khadim Sy scored 11 off the bench in just 12 minutes of play. Terrence Phillips continued his strong play at the point guard spot with six points, nine assists and four steals.

Next up, the Warriors traveled to Memphis for the Penny Hardaway Hoopfest last weekend.

In game one, Oak Hill took down Memphis-Hamilton HS, 81-65. Caleb Martin had 29, Gustys finished with 17 points and 15 rebounds and University of Virginia signee B.J. Stith scored 12 and grabbed six boards off the bench.

Next up, the Warriors battled another local high school, Memphis-Houston, but the result was much of the same. The Warriors had five guys in doubles figures to help secure the 84-51 triumph. The Martin Twins were once again the top scorers with Caleb scoring 18 and Cody scoring 15 on 7-for-10 shooting. Phillips nearly had a triple-double with 12 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. Future UNC-Asheville Bulldog Kem Ubaru scored 12 off the bench and Stith chipped in 10.

Most recently on Monday, Oak Hill squared off against Genesis Academy and blew out the visiting team, 104-50. Caleb Martin had 19, Stith had 14 and seven rebounds, Cody Martin had 13, Gustys recorded a double-double with 11 points and 13 rebounds, Ubaru scored 11, Tony Anderson had 11 and Sy had 10 points and nine boards.

The Warriors have a pair of road games this weekend. OHA travels to Bristol, Va., to face The Miller School and then turn around and head to Raleigh on Saturday to face Word of God Academy.

The next home game in Mouth of Wilson will be on Tuesday against Legacy Charter School at 7 p.m.
