The weekly session of the Ashe County District Court was held on Dec. 13, with the honorable Jeannie Houston presiding. These decisions were handed down by the court:

Brian Paul Amlaner: (T) expired registration/tag, (T) driving MV no registration, (T) operate vehicle without insurance, cons., (P) guilty, 120 days suspended, 18 months unsupervised probation, CC.

William Michael Burch: (M) fishing without a license, (P) no contest, 10 days suspended, 18 months unsupervised probation, CC.

Jason Brian Burgess: (T) driving while impaired — two counts (P) no contest, Count one: 120 days ACJ, 18 mos. supervised probation, CC, 48 hrs CWS time served. Count two: 24 months DAC, 18 mos. supervised probation, 30 days ACJ credit for time served, $500 fine plus CC. (T) driving with license revoked, (P) no contest, 45 days, 18 mos. supervised probation.

Frankie Chedo Gomez: (M) resisting public officer, (M) assault on a female officer, cons., (P) no contest, 60 days suspended, 18 months supervised probation, must pay victim’s medical bills.

Christopher Joyner: (F) delivery of schedule II controlled substance, (F) posession with intent to manufacture/sell/deliver shedule II controlled substance, cons., (P) no contest, 10-21 months DAC to run concurrent with sentences currently serving.

Kayla Marie Shrader: (M) aiding and abetting larceny, second degree trespassing, 15 days, 18 months unsupervised probation, fines plus CC, stay away from Walmart.
