The mayor and board of aldermen met for two hours in closed session Wednesday night, speaking to their attorney by phone, but came out just before midnight and took no action in the personnel matter concerning Town Manager Greg McGinnis.

McGinnis was arrested Tuesday morning for driving while impaired and charged with failure to stop and carrying a concealed weapon. (click related story, WJ town manager arrested, on this Web site for the complete story).

When asked if McGinnis would be on the job the rest of the week, Mayor Dale Hudler said he could not comment.

On Thursday morning, the mayor said he will attempt to call another meeting of the board on Monday.
