Rebecca Agnes Shepherd, better know as Becky, the widow of Lester Shepherd, age 77, of Lansing, died Thursday, June 11, 2009 at her home.

Mrs. Shepherd was born July 29, 1931 in Cecil County, MD to the late Ernest and Anna Reynolds. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by: stepson, Daniel Shepherd; brothers, Howard and Walter Reynolds; sister, Sara Jane Reynolds; and half sister, Mary Miller. She was a member of Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 14, at Pleasant Chapel Baptist Church by the Rev. Tom Stuart. Mrs. Shepherd lay in state one hour prior to the funeral. Burial followed in the church cemetery. The family received friends from 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, at Badger Funeral Home.

Mrs. Shepherd is survived by: one stepson, Doug Shepherd of Lansing; one stepdaughter, Donna Toliver of Port Deposit, MD; 2 brothers, Arthur Reynolds of Lansing and Eddie Reynolds of Colora, MD; 7 step-grandchildren; and 8 step great-grandchildren.
