Former Husky Zeb Richardson picked up his second straight double-double, helping Guilford College beat Johnson & Wales, 89-51.

Richardson saw action for 19 minutes off the bench and scored 12 points, grabbed a team-leading 13 rebounds and blocked three shots.

This marked the fifth straight game that Richardson has scored double figures.

Quaker teammate Josh Pittman led all scorers with 20 points and Matt McCarthy scored 19. Both combined to hit 11 three-point shots.

So far through nine games, Richardson has averaged just over 10 points per game and has grabbed seven rebounds per contest.

Guilford sits at 7-2 overall and 2-1 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference. The Quakers are also a perfect 6-0 at home this year.

The team wraps up the 2012 calendar year in a holiday tournament in Maryville, Tenn. The Quakers will play Maryville College on Dec. 28 and then battle Birmingham Southern on Dec. 29.

The Quakers will take on Methodist after the holiday break on Jan. 2 before diving back into conference play. The final 13 games of the regular season will all be conference battles.
