A telephone service outage which affected most of Ashe County yesterday was caused by vandals.
SkyLine Membership Corporation Public Relations Administrator Karen Powell reported this morning that the service outage was attributed to vandalism of SkyLine’s fiber optic vault in Shady Valley, Tennessee.
Dial tone services have been fully restored to all of Ashe County and Shady Valley, Tennessee.
SkyLine will provide more detailed information on the service outage later this morning.
