ACHS volleyball camp set for July 10
Volleyball head coach Lindsey Williams will be hosting the annual “Queens of the Court” camp at Ashe County High School. The camp is for rising fourth graders through rising 10th graders and will be split up into two different groups. Flooding rains postpone local trout stocking
The N.C. Wildlife Resources Commission has postponed two trout stockings scheduled on Monday for the Delayed Harvest sections of the Little River in Alleghany County and Big Horse Creek in Ashe County. Commission staff had planned to stock 1,500 trout in Little River and 1,675 trout in Big Horse Creek, but postponed due to flood conditions in the region. It took 11 innings to decide a winner in the first round conference tournament matchup between Ashe County and Forbush. ‘Girls Got Game’ camp set for June
Lady Huskies’ head coach Laura Foster, as well as current players at the high school will be hosting the annual Girls Got Game basketball camp in June.
