WEST JEFFERSON — The JV boys’ basketball team have piled up some wins early on in the 2015-16 season.

After an opening night win last week against Bunker Hill, the boys followed that up by winning the Dr. Pepper/Triangle Vending JV Tournament this past weekend.

The Huskies beat Avery County on Friday evening and took down Watauga in the championship game on Saturday.

On Tuesday, the Huskies notched its fourth win of the young season, a 53-48 win over Hibriten.

Ashe will close out the week with rematches against Watauga and Avery on the road.
