Making grandma proud

Billings, who also qualified for the state championship tourney last season, made it to the consolation championship where he finished in third place. After winning the opening two rounds, he lost in the championship semifinals. Billings battled back by winning his two consolation round matches, taking third with a 7-0 decision win against Jake Clary from West Lincoln. Billings is the grandson of Mable Vannoy who resides in Crumpler.
