Summer camps are officially underway


Nathan Ham | Jefferson Post - The first summer sports camp at Ashe County High School will get the ball rolling on several more camps coming up in June and July. Tennis campers had a beautiful week of weather for the annual Ashe County Tennis Clinic at the high school. Ashe County head coach and camp instructor Larry Dix estimated there were close to 50 participants between the two camp sessions with elementary and middle school kids having the bigger turnout.
