WEST JEFFERSON — Ticket prices for the 2016-2017 sports season at Ashe County High School will cost $1 more than last year.
The cost per game this year for varsity and JV football, varsity and JV volleyball, men’s soccer, varsity and JV basketball, wrestling, women’s soccer, varsity and JV baseball, varsity and JV softball and track meets will all be $6.
As a reminder, students and parents can also buy season passes for all home sporting events at ACHS. An individual student pass is $50 for the year and an individual adult pass is $150 for the year. A family pass is $200 per couple plus $25 per child. Family passes include a reserved parking spot for football games in the front lot.
As a reminder, these passes do not include endowment games, conference tournament games or playoff games.
In-season athletes will be admitted free to games during the season they are competing in. Students must have their ID card to get in.
Also this season, the North Carolina High School Athletic Association will be increasing its attention towards any unsportsmanlike behavior, such as fighting and profanity. Athletes, coaches and fans that exhibit such behavior will be ejected from the game or told to leave.
