Elizabeth “Lib” Faw Wall, age 75, widow of Richard “Dick” Wall, of Alonzo McNeil Drive, Millers Creek, died Wednesday August 27, 2008, at Villages of Wilkes Skilled Care.
Mrs. Wall was born February 20, 1933, in Wilkes County to Kager and Mae Pierce Faw. She was a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church and a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary Post 1142.
Surviving are a daughter, Lisa Wilcox and husband, Tim, of Millers Creek; a brother, Larry Faw and wife, Kathy, of Millers Creek; three sisters, Rachel McNeal of Winston Salem, Lois Woodie and husband, Jerry, Lynn McNeil and husband, Earl, all of Purlear; two grandchildren, Nicholas Wilcox, Kendall Wilcox, both of Millers Creek; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday, August 29, at Pleasant Home Baptist Church with the Rev. Tim Wilcox and the Rev. Mike Church officiating. The body will be placed in the church at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Arbor Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Millers Creek.
The family was to receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 6:30 until 8:30 p.m. Thursday night.
