The Ashe County Little Theatre production of 'Mame' begins tonight and continues through June 27 at the Ashe Civic Center. Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Monday, and 2 p.m. on Sunday. The cast, led by Jane Lonon as Mame, includes the young Patrick (Riley Edmondson) and the older Patrick (Zach Emerson), Sharon Kasel as Vera Charles, Rachel Matthies as Agnes Gooch, Les Miller as Ito, Jeff Dreyer as Beauregard Jackson Pickett Burnside, Uncle Jeff (Dayne Hodges), Cousin Fan (Edie Miller), Linda Harms (Sally Cato), Mother Burnside (Jan Gambill), Lindsay Woolsey (Grady Lonon), Dwight Babcock (Jim Williams), Gloria Upson (Caitlin Miller), Doris Upson (Kathy Howell), Claude Upson (Jerry Roman), Peter (Jackson Krider), Pegeen Ryan (Anna Wooten), Madame Branislowski (Becky Burgess), Junior Babcock (Matthew Lonon), Messenger (Owen Peeler), Gretta (Cindy Taylor), Vernon Taylor as the doorman, and Joanne Boman, Carolyn Freeman, Connie Hardison, Kim Isler, Callie Powell, Becky Stragand, Peter Stragand, and Tom Turxal, chorus. Directed by Rebecca Herman with musical direction by Michael Bell, technical direction by Michael Yelton and produced by Jim Williams. Tickets are $12 for adults and $5 for students; they are now on sale at the Ashe Arts Center, either in person, or by phone at 336.846-ARTS. Credit cards are accepted.
