Mrs. Howell was born May 17, 1949 in Ashe County to Ulas and Alma Lambert Blevins. Mrs. Howell loved working in her garden.
Funeral services will be private.
Mrs. Howell is survived by her husband, Roger Howell; one son, Randy Howell and wife, Amy, of Crumpler; one brother, David Blevins of Crumpler; one sister, Brenda Hammer of Crumpler; two granddaughters, Anna Wyatt and April Pittman; and several nieces and nephews.
