Local artist Raney Rogers' new art instruction show, the "Art and Soul Network" will air at 3 p.m. on Sunday, May 20 on cable station MTN18. The show may be viewed online at mtn18.com if you do not receive cable or would like to view the show at your convenience.

Rogers is the owner of the Acorn Gallery in West Jefferson, which was the first fine art gallery to open in town over 25 years ago. She teaches art workshops throughout the southeast and has focused her love of art and teaching into her new show which is informative, fun and easy to follow for ease in learning to paint from the comfort of your home.

Rogers is also now offering instructional DVDs for easy painting techniques in watercolor and oil.
