All arrests, related to the sale of opium, a schedule I narcotic, were made on Monday, June 11, according to the release.
Maggie Michelle Brooks, 30, of Lansing, was charged with one count of conspiring to deliver a schedule I narcotic, possession with intent to sell a schedule I narcotic, and possession of a schedule I narcotic. Brooks is currently held in the Ashe County Detention Center on $75,000 bond.
Robert David Mahala, 34, of Lansing was charged with one count of conspiring to deliver a schedule I narcotic, possession with intent to sell a schedule I narcotic, and possession of a schedule I narcotic. Brooks is currently held in the Ashe County Detention Center on $75,000 bond.
William Roby Hicks, 63, of West Jefferson, was charged with five counts of trafficking opium and one count of conspiring to deliver a schedule I narcotic. Hicks is currently held in the Ashe County Detention Center on a cumulative $75,000 bond.
Michael James Dishman Jr, 34, of West Jefferson, was charged with one count of conspiring to deliver a schedule one narcotic, possession with intent to sell a schedule I narcotic, possession of a schedule I narcotic, and felony possession of cocaine. Dishman is currently held in the Ashe County Detention Center on a cumulative $55,000 bond.
Brian Keith Dishman, 25, of West Jefferson, was charged with one count of conspiring to deliver a schedule I narcotic, and possession with intent to sell a schedule II narcotic stemming from a 2011 undercover operation. Dishman is currently held in the Ashe County Detention Center on a cumulative $55,000 bond.
