After a second place finish in the Mountain Valley Athletic Conference, the Lady Huskies saw four of its players earn MVAC All-Conference recognition for their outstanding efforts this year.
Leading scorer and co-captain Kebrina Keys, co-captain MacKenzie Domske, junior Aspen Domske and senior Karanda Weaver each received all-conference honors.
Other all-conference soccer players included MVAC Player of the Year Risa Baker (Wilkes Central), Tori Andreski (Wilkes Central), Caitlin Curley (Wilkes Central), Fran Garcia (Starmount), Rebekah Howard (Elkin), Haley Lindsay (Forbush), Jessica Martinez (Starmount), Alex Moore (North Wilkes), Madison Morsch (Forbush), Rosanna Orozco (Wilkes Central), Jessie Pardue (Starmount), Candi Sanchez (Alleghany), Haley Smoot (East Wilkes), Stephanie Sprinkle (West Wilkes), Mary Tayloe (Elkin), Jessica Tucker (Forbush), Savannah Walls (Alleghany) and Keri Wingler (West Wilkes).
The Lady Huskies also had two named to the MVAC Honorable Mention list. Goalkeeper Chrissy Simmons and freshman Olivia Brettschneider were awarded for their play this season.
Others on the honorable mention list were Molly Callaway (East Wilkes), Brittney Casstevens (Starmount), Victoria Cohn (Forbush), Chelsea Davis (Starmount), Julianna Franklin (Wilkes Central), Jessica Funk (Forbush), Katie Huffman (East Wilkes), Krista LaPlante (West Wilkes), Krysten Miller (North Wilkes), Payton Nicholson (Elkin), Maegan Price (Alleghany), Kristin Pruitt (North Wilkes), Margaret Ray (Alleghany), Catherine Schumak (Elkin), Hannah Trawick (Wilkes Central) and Katie Wingler (West Wilkes).
