Friday, June 22

6-8 p.m. Faith Fellowship Vacation Bible Study: The Armor of God, kick-off. VBS is Saturday, June 23 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m., registration at 9:30 a.m. Located at 676 S. Main St., Jefferson. Call 336-620-1327.

Sunday, June 24

8:30 and 11 a.m. Director’s Trio will perform at Mt. Paddy Church at both services.

10:30 a.m. Fletcher Memorial Baptist Church in Jefferson announces a special concert featuring Tommy Rose from Blountville, Tenn., playing piano, Floyd Cramer southern gospel style. Pastor Steve Goss and congregation invite everyone to attend.

12-2 p.m. Florence Thomas Art School will host an open house for Florence Thomas “Church” paintings at Bethany United Methodist Church, in the Baldwin Community. The exhibit includes 15 original paintings of local churches as well as churches far beyond. The exhibit will travel monthly to other area churches through October 2012. 6 p.m. Bristol Baptist Church invites you to come and hear a performance from “Covered by the Blood.”

6 p.m. Laurel Springs Baptist Church on Hwy 18 S will have a gospel singing. The featured group will be Close to Home. Refreshments will be served following the singing. Pastor Dana Hines and congregation invite everyone to come.

7 p.m. Revival at Wolf Knob Baptist Church located at the junction of Wolf Knob Road and Spencer Branch Road. Revival will begin on Sunday night and will continue through the week. The evangelist will be Rev. Mitchell Mash. Pastor Rex Hall and congregation invite you to attend.

June 24-29

6:30-8:30 p.m. Friendly Grove Baptist Church will have VBS with light supper at 5:45 p.m. Skits and music from the week will be provided by Cabin Missionary Baptist Church of Pink Hill. Their name is Amazing Wonders from Lifeway. Pastor, Rev. Wayne Osborne invites you to attend.

June 25-29

6:30-8:30 p.m. Big Laurel Mennonite Church. VBS “Babylon - Daniel’s Courage in Captivity” with a fun day on Saturday June, 30 from 12 to 3 p.m. The fun day will include a water activity. Big Laurel Mennonite is located on Big Laurel Road in Creston, take NC 88 from Warrensville, turn right on Big Laurel Road, church is on the right. Saturday, June 30
