The Lady Huskies had one golfer make the all-conference team in the Mountain Valley Athletic Conference, and two others receive honorable mention recognition for their performances this season.
Ashe’s Taylor Price joined Mary-Frances Hall, Annika Winebarger, both of Elkin, and Alleghany’s Katie Talley on the MVAC All-Conference team.
Olivia Barr and Madison Little were chosen as all-conference honorable mention performers. Kaley Cornelison (Elkin), Catherine Howell (Wilkes Central) and Tate Morris (Wilkes Central) rounded out the list of players on the honorable mention team.
Hall was chosen as MVAC Player of the Year while Elkin head coach Sena Hinson picked up the MVAC Coach of the Year award. The Lady Elks won each regular season match and took home the regular season and conference tournament championship.
