The JV Lady Huskies took home the championship last weekend in the annual Dr. Pepper/Miller Insurance JV Tournament Invitational. Back row: Head coach Mark Hudler, Tyler Eller, Laura Hodgson, Savannah Brooks, Brooke Hogg, Hannah Andrews, Haley Cooper, Brooke Price, assistant coach Bobby Hudler. Front row: Kenadie Hudler, Kirklyn Hudler. The ladies also picked up a 22-21 victory over Avery County on Tuesday, moving them to 3-1 overall.

Ashe had three award winners from the JV tournament. Tyler Eller (left) was named MVP, Savannah Brooks (center) and Laura Hodgson (right) were both named to the all-tournament team.
