These arrests come after reports of vehicular break-ins at the Shadowline Shopping Center in Boone.
The arrested include 24-year-old Austin James Morrow, 27-year-old Derrick Chad Anderson, and 28-year-old Anthony Shane Anderson. According to the BPD, the trio has been charged with three counts of breaking and entering a motor vehicle, three counts of misdemeanor larceny from a motor vehicle, and three counts of damage to property.
The three men are currently being held at the Watauga County Detention Center in lieu of a $13,000 secured bond each. They are scheduled to appear in Watauga County District court on Nov. 17
Derrick and Anthony Anderson are also facing similar charges in Ashe County. Derrick Chad Anderson is scheduled to appear in Ashe County Superior Court on Dec. 7 where he will face misdemeanor and felony larceny, burglary, and attempted common law robbery charges. Anthony Shane Anderson will appear in Ashe County District Court on Oct. 22 where he will face misdemeanor larceny and felony breaking and entering and larceny charges.
Morrow is to face unrelated charges in Ashe later this month.
