Funeral services were held on Sunday, Jan. 10 at 2 p.m. at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. JC Norton, the Rev. Martha Kincaid, the Rev. Lonnie Jones, and Minister Wayne Barker officiating. Burial followed in the Barker McNeill Eller Cemetery on Parker Eller Road in Lansing. The family received friends from 5-7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Jan. 9 at Boone Family Funeral Home.
Miss Mayle was born in Watauga County on Monday, Sept. 14, 1992 to Vicki Barker and James Mayle.
She is survived by: her mother and stepfather, Vicki and Brian Jones of Crumpler; her father and stepmother, James and Marlene Mayle of West Virginia; two sisters, Maci Jones and Abbi Jones, both of the home; her grandparents, Wayne and Linda Barker of Jefferson, Lonnie and April Jones of Grassy Creek, and Vincent and Lucille Mayle of West Virginia; her great grandfather, Clarence Greer of Jefferson; several aunts, uncles and cousins; special friends and caregivers, Mille and Jerry Testerman and family.
