Terry Leigh Gibson McGinnis, age 47, of Grassy Creek, died Thursday, May 27, 2010 at her home.

Funeral services were held on Sunday, May 30, at 3 p.m. at Boone Family Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Martha Kincaid officiating.

The family received friends from 1-3 p.m. on Sunday, two hours prior to the funeral service.

Mrs. McGinnis was born in Kentucky on June 7, 1962 to the late Norman Levi Gibson and Nevada Dillingham Gibson. She was a homemaker.

She was also preceded in death by her husband, Michael Ray McGinnis.

She is survived by: three daughters, Anna Roark and husband, Brian, of West Jefferson, Jamie Whitted of Grassy Creek, and Kelly Wilbourn of Warrensville; two brothers, Norman (Skip) Gibson of Madison, KY and Tony Gibson of Michigan; three sisters, Janice Zahari of Elwood City, PA, Joyce Sluka of Taylor, MI and Shelia Dotson of Lincoln Park, MI; five grandchildren, John Ray Wilbourn, Dylan Roark, Logan Roark, Bailey Whitted and Carson Whitted; and several nieces and nephews.

Flowers will be accepted.
