Donald Ray Sexton
Donald Ray Sexton of Troutdale, Va., passed away Aug. 17, 2012 at the Johnson City Medical Center in Johnson City, Tenn. He was 60.
He was born May 16, 1952 at Troutdale to Benjamin Rex Sexton and Alice Bolt Sexton.
Surviving are his wife, Bonnie Cox Sexton of the home; daughter and son-in-law, Rhonda and Matt Roten of Christiansburg, Va; son, Andy Sexton of Chilhowie, Va.;one brother and spouse, Robert Dale and Barbara Sexton of Rural Retreat, Va.; seven sisters and spouses, Frances Armstrong of Jacksonville, Fla., Alma Jo and Ray Sexton of Troutdale, Va., Betty and Erwin Martin of Galax, Va., Mary Young and Anna and Rex Chandler of Independence, Va., Janet Johnson of Marion, Va., and Angela and Jerry Gail Paisley of Hiddenitte; and several nieces and nephews
Funeral services were held Monday, Aug. 20, at the Burtons Chapel Baptist Church, Flatridge, Va., with interment in Burtons Chapel Cemetery. The Rev. Ralph Surber and the Rev. Mike Porter officiated.
Arrangements were by Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, Independence, Va.
