The January and February Agriculture Student of the month are Alex Kissinger (January) and Lydia Graham (February). Both Alex and Lydia are enrolled in the Animal Science 2- Small Animal class, where they each maintain one of the highest averages in the class. Alex is a senior who has taken many agriculture classes during his high school career. In each class he has been in, Alex has consistently shown himself to be a great student with strong leadership potential. Alex has also been a member of the ACHS FFA Chapter for 4 years. Recently, Alex was accepted for admission into the Poultry Science Department at NC State University. Alex plans on majoring in Poultry Science and pursue a career in the Poultry Industry.
Lydia Graham is a junior in the Animal Science 2 Small Animal class. In addition to strong grades, Lydia is a leader among her peers. She is an active member of the ACHS FFA Chapter, where she is currently serving as a member of the officer team and has been a part of several FFA competition teams. Her future plans are to attend a 4 year university and pursue a career in agriculture.
