Ashe County arrest report

ASHE COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested and booked in the Ashe County Detention Center Thursday, May 26 through Wednesday, June 1. The information is provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office and is public record.

May 26

Joey Allen Ponce, 25, of Crumpler was charged with second degree trespassing. Bond was set at $500 secured. Ponce has not been released. Ponce’s first court appearance was June 3.

May 27

Gregory Michael Johnson, 33, of Mooresville was charged with non-support of a child. Bond was set at $3,042.96 cash. Johnson was released on June 1 after paying the child support money.

May 30

Carl Henderson McMellon, 58, of Crumpler was charged with communicating threats. Bond was set at $500 secured. McMellon has not been released. McMellon’s first court appearance is July 1.

May 31

Jamie Matthew Eldreth, 35, of Lansing was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, injury to real property and probation violation. Bond was set at $15,000 secured. Eldreth was released the next day. Eldreth’s first court appearance was June 2.

Charles Leonard Ruland, 59, of Jefferson was charged with being intoxicated and disruptive and failure to pay monies. Bond was set at $195 secured. Ruland was released the next day. Ruland’s first court appearance is July 7.

Ashley Elisabeth Billings, 28, of Lansing was charged with probation violation. Bond was set at $5,000 secured. Billings has not been released. Billings’ first court appearance was June 2.

June 1

Jody Chad Blevins, 35, of Lansing was charged with driving with a revoked license and failure to pay monies. Bond was set at $500 secured for the probation violation and $397.50 cash for the failure to pay monies charge. Blevins was released later that day. Blevins’ first court appearance is June 9.

Tyler Daniel Hodges, 20, of West Jefferson was charged with probation violation. Bond was set at $1,000 secured. Hodges has not been released. Hodges’ first court appearance was June 3.

Matthew Noble Jordan, 27, of Warrensville was charged with assault on a female. Bond was set at $2,500 secured. Jordan was released later that day. Jordan’s first court appearance is July 21.
