Ashe County arrest report

ASHE COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested and booked in the Ashe County Detention Center Thursday, June 9 through Wednesday, June 15. The information is provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office and is public record.

June 9

Jacob G. Shook, 32, of Boone was charged with felony larceny and two counts of probation violation. Bond was set at $70,000 secured. Shook was released the next day. Shook’s first court appearance was June 16.

Miranda Sunshine Jones, 35, of Jefferson was charged with seven counts of failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Bond was set at $2,600 cash. Jones was released on June 11. Jones’ first court appearance is June 30.

Cynthia Leigh Kapp-Foster, 57, of Laurel Springs was charged with second degree trespassing. Bond was set at $1,000 secured. Kapp-Foster has not been released. Kapp-Foster’s first court appearance was June 16.

Heather M. Lewis, 24, of Bostic, North Carolina was charged with failure to pay child support. Bond was set at $300 secured. Lewis was released on June 13. First court appearance information is unavailable.

June 12

Jeff Daniel Seiverling, 62, of Jefferson was charged with possession of a controlled substance on prison/jail premises, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce, simple possession of a Schedule II controlled substance and being intoxicated and disruptive. Bond was set at $6,500 secured. Seiverling has not been released. Seiverling’s first court appearance was June 16.

June 14

Tiffany Louise Bare, 27, of Sparta was charged with two counts of misdemeanor larceny. Bond was set at $1,000 secured. Bare was released the next day. Bare’s first court appearance is July 1.

Jacob Tyler Whittington, 21, of Lansing was charged with failure to appear on a misdemeanor. Bond was set at $365 cash. Whittington was released later that day. Whittington’s first court appearance is July 7.

June 15

Emily Ann Blevins, 24, of West Jefferson was charged with simple assault. Bond information is unavailable. Blevins was released later that day. Blevins’ first court appearance is Sept. 2.
