Ashe County arrest report

ASHE COUNTY — The following individuals were arrested and booked in the Ashe County Detention Center Thursday, July 28 through Wednesday, Aug. 3. The information is provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office and is public record.

July 28

Milton Randolph Cook Jr., 45, of Crumpler was charged with misdemeanor larceny and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle. Bond was set at $3,000 secured. Cook has not been released as of Aug. 4. Cook’s first court appearance is Aug. 18.

Anthony Grant Hopkins, 51, of West Jefferson was charged with violating a domestic violence protection order and probation violation. Bond was set at $5,200 secured. Hopkins was released on Aug. 1. Hopkins’ first court appearance is Aug. 8.

Damien Broc Mackey, 29, of Boone was charged with violating a domestic violence protection order and failure to return rented property on purpose. Bond was set at $815 secured. Mackey was released the next day. Mackey’s first court appearance is Aug. 18.

July 30

Jason Douglas Hill, 38, of West Jefferson was charged with injury to personal property. Bond was set at $1,000 secured. Hill was released later that day. Hill’s first court appearance is Aug. 11.

July 31

Andrea Hodges Combs, 32, of Boone was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,000 secured. Combs has not been released as of Aug. 4. Combs’ first court appearance is Aug. 18.

Aug. 1

Dakota Lee Powers, 25, of Warrensville was charged with possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $1,200 secured. Powers was released the next day. Powers’ first court appearance information is unavailable.

Aug. 2

Parker Davis Shelton, 19, of West Jefferson was charged with simple possession of a Schedule IV controlled substance, possession of marijuana up to one-half ounce and consuming alcohol while 19/20 years of age. Bond information is unavailable. Shelton was released later that day. Shelton’s first court appearance is Aug. 25.
