ASHE COUNTY – The following individuals were arrested and booked in the Ashe County Detention Center Thursday, Nov. 10 through Thursday, Nov. 12. The information is provided by the Ashe County Sheriff’s Office and is public record.

Nov. 11

Joseph Chad Jones, 35, of 151 Joe Jones Road, Warrensville, was charged with failure to appear in court. He was issued a $20,000 secured bond.

Nov. 12

Alejandro Garcia, 26, of Helen Blevins Road, Trailer No. 9, West Jefferson, was charged with assault on a female and injury to personal property. He was issued a $2,500 unsecured bond.

Nov. 13

Abraham Hernandez, 26, of 214 South Main St., Jefferson, was charged with driving while impaired. He was issued a $800 bond.

Nov. 14

Harold Dean Crouse, 58, of 180 Indian Lake Drive, West Jefferson, was charged with contempt of court and assault on a female. He was issued a $2,500 unsecured bond.

Nov. 15

Robert Steven Hawkins, 48, of 2608 Pisgah Church Road, Lenoir, was charged with misdemeanor larceny and carrying a concealed weapon.

Cynthia Whisnant Byrd, 45, of Lenoir, was charged with felony larceny. She was issued a $3,000 secured bond.

Nov. 16

Ashley Amber Bare, 30, of 260 Rusty Ridge Road, West Jefferson, was charged with driving while license revoked. She was issued a $1,000 personal recognizance bond.

Mark Minton Maples, 30, of 3303 Fairway Road, Knoxville, Tenn., was charged with being a fugitive from another stae. He was issued a $15,000 secured bond.

Tori Mae Dowell, of 122 Cherry Hill Ridge Road, Jefferson, was charged with misdemeanor larceny, felony larceny of a motor vehicle, felony larceny of chose in action and felony larceny of motor vehicle and possession of stolen goods. She was issued a $25,000 secured bond.
