Hannah Myers | Jefferson Post Northwestern Emergency Vehicles celebrated it’s 25th anniversary with music, food, door prizes, and an ambulance shaped cake.


WEST JEFFERSON — Northwestern Emergency Vehicles held an open house on Wednesday, Aug. 5 to celebrate their 25th anniversary. The celebration included music provided by Rock Bottom Bluegrass, food from Big Mo’s BBQ, door prizes, cake and more.

Northwestern Emergency Vehicles Owner Richard Hamby was recognized for his 25 years of service with a plaque presented by Production Manager Jeff Dreyer and Sales Manager Randy Barr.

Northwestern was founded in 1990 by Hamby and Darrell Poe. More than 150 emergency vehicles are sold per year by Northwestern and the company has been awarded Dealership of the Year each year since it first opened.

Northwestern is also the proud dealer for American Emergency Vehicles (AEV) which is one of the largest manufacturers of ambulances in the world and is located in Jefferson.
