WEST JEFFERSON — Until next time, it is the odd year graduates that have the bragging rights after the second annual Lady Husky alumni game that took place on Sunday at Ashe County High School.

The odd year graduates beat the even year graduates, 46-26.

“A big thanks to all of my former players who took time out of their busy schedules to come back for the game. It means so much to me,” said varsity basketball coach Laura Foster. “I am very thankful for the wonderful young ladies that I have coached and continue to coach. It was a great day for the Lady Huskies basketball program.”

Coach Foster wanted to send a special thanks to Mark Hudler and Daniel Clark who were the officials for the game, as well as Ray Dancy and Bobby Hudler for coaching the teams and all the current players that came by to help make the day a special one.
